Xiaotong Ma 

In my own professional field, I successfully passed the undergraduate CET-4 and CET-8 examination, and participated in the writing and reading competition of FERS many times and achieved excellent results. I was also very lucky to win the award of Excellent Graduation Thesis of Hebei Province in 2019. For social practice, I served as a foreign guest interpreter at the Fifth Annual Meeting of the Chinese Czechoslovak Farm Foreign Cooperation Promotion Conference and the Association of Ambassadors to China, and was responsible for the business negotiation and reception of foreign guests from the Czech Republic. This experience let me practice my oral English well, but also recognize my shortcomings, broaden my horizons, for my efforts to add a new source of struggle. I also served as the flag-keeper of the national flag class of Hebei Agricultural University, advocating patriotism and guarding the national flag spirit.

As for scientific experience, during my college life, In 2015, I participated in the ninth batch of teaching research project of Hebei Agricultural University, "Application and Research of English Corpus in Integrated English Course Teaching" (No. 2015YB60). As the first author, I published the thesis "An Analysis of the Diachronic Development of American Slang and Its Basic Linguistic Features" and the thesis "The Production of Cooperative Principle and Humor in Pragmatics". In the research of the subject and the writing of the paper, on the one hand, it makes me more interested in the historical development and schools of linguistics; on the other hand, in the process of searching for materials, sorting out materials and sorting out my own opinions and ideas, I also realize the arduousness of the task of language research, which also encourages me to study this direction more diligently. In 2017, I participated in the research project of Baoding Municipal Social Science Association, "Study on the Construction of Local Cultural Brand of Baoding City Guided by Global Tourism" (No. 2017079) (in the study). In this research project, I have developed my ability to unite and cooperate, organize and coordinate. Through this study, I have a deeper understanding of the relationship between language and culture, and a deeper understanding of the study of linguistics itself.

At present, my postgraduate research is in theoretical linguistics, especially in syntax, TG grammar, biolinguistics and computational linguistics.
