In order to enhance the awareness of national security among contemporary university students, the Department of Linguistics has actively carried out a series of activities on “4•15 National Security Education Day”. Due to the fact that at present nationwide is still in the special period of against coronavirus, the activities are held in the form of online mainly. It consists of two parts. First, students are encouraged to take part in the activity of “Attending the Same One National Security Education Class”, watch and study the “2020 National Security Education Day University Open Class”, and have an online discussion after learning. Second, students are encouraged to participate in the “2020 National Security Education Knowledge Contest for University Students ” activity and answer questions online.

The students all participated actively in the activity, and the feedback was good. The details are as follows.

I. “Attending the Same One National Security Education Class” Activity

Students actively studied the online open class and discussed about it. Through the feedback, it could be tell that students have learned a lot. Details of the first part are shown below.

The above is the details of the activity on “4•15 National Security Education Day” which held by the Department of Linguistics. All the 15 undergraduates from the department participated in the activity, and the students responded enthusiastically. They learned relevant knowledge of national security during the activity. The awareness of national security has been enhanced, and the expected good effects of the activities have been achieved.
