In the sixth venue of the Grammar Group, Professor Zhongru Xiong reported on his latest research on "The Fixed Value of Case Features in Generative Grammar", and believed that the fixed value of case features is only related to the core of hierarchy and its activeness . From the perspective of world languages, when the tense category is more active than the light verb, the determined values are the nominative case and the accusative case; when the light verb is more active than the tense category, the determined values are the absolutive case and the ergative case. As a language without case form, the activeness of the core of the hierarchy of Chinese needs to be assumed and verified by facts. Professor Xiong's report was concise, powerful thought-provoking.
