From September 9th to 12th, The 14th World Congress of Semiotics was held at the Buenos Aires National University of Arts, Argentina, and the St. Martin Cultural Center. At the invitation of the Organizing Committee of the 14th World Congress of Semiotic Conference, Professor Lu Deping from the Department of Linguistics of BLCU attended the conference. And Professor Lu made a speech on September 12th about the “Pearce's Educational Semiotic Philosophy and China's Educational Movement”. Professor Tony Jappy, an internationally renowned semiologist, attended the whole report meeting of Professor Lu. And they discussed in-depth about the semiotics cooperation. On the conference, Professor Lu also participated in eight academic conferences, and discussed a lot with scholars from Canada, Sweden, France, Brazil, and Argentina,
